Levity CropScience to reveal latest product research in Abu Dhabi
Levity CropScience co-managing director, David Marks, is to reveal the firm’s latest research for its innovative smart fertiliser, Indra, at the recent Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture.
Held annually in Abu Dhabi, the Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture (GFIA) brings together international leaders in sustainable agriculture, exploring the latest and most effective agricultural technology available in the Middle East and North Africa.
Their award-winning Indra product helps crops become more resilient to the stresses of heat, drought, cold, salinity and UV, as well as improving growth, colour and promotion of antioxidants.
At the Forum, David will communicate how in its field research trials, Indra has restored growth in crops like lettuce and tomato following exposure to salinity. He will also highlight how research in Ghana showcased that Indra reduced stress in Banana crop, in turn reducing the presence of Sigatoka infection in the crop.
David said: “The GFIA is an opportunity for growers and distributors around the world to discover the latest research and innovations from leading organisations in the agricultural supply chain.
“As well as exhibiting, Levity CropScience will use the opportunity to speak directly with growers and the agricultural supply chain, informing them of our latest, ground-breaking research regarding Indra. The smart fertiliser works particularly well in arid climates, allowing crops including; peppers, apples, potatoes and dragon fruit to remain resilient and reach their full potential in conditions of drought and high exposure to UV.”
